Tampere is the third largest city in Finland, and aims to be carbon neutral by 2030. How the good intentions are brought to practice? Let’s dive deeper into the roadmap work and the steps that will lead to carbon neutrality.
Since January 2020, Laura Inha is the Development Manager in the Sustainable Tampere 2030 -program at City of Tampere. The program is responsible for implementing city’s strategy of being carbon neutral by 2030. Previously, Laura was finalizing her, yet to be defended, doctoral dissertation in Tampere University about policies for resilient water services. She has also gained eight years of work experience in stormwater management consulting in Finland, and in international development in the Global Water Practice, World Bank, concentrating on water security, groundwater management, and sanitation issues mainly in India. Laura has a master’s degree in civil engineering majoring in water and environmental engineering.
