Nordic delegation to Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona in November
The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), held in Barcelona since 2011 by Nordic Edge collaboration partner Fira Barcelona, is one of the international key events for smarter and more sustainable cities from around the world. The event´s mission is to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe. Through promoting social innovation, establishing partnerships and identifying business opportunities, the event is dedicated to a better future for cities and their citizens.
The Nordic Pavilion coordinated by Team Norway in Spain is a regular feature and known success at the event. It is traditionally one of the biggest, and best visited, stands at SCEWC. Pre-covid the Nordic Edge cluster delegation to SCEWC grew to nearly 100 Norwegian participants, both cities and companies, with very good feedback from both categories. Based on this, and multiple requests from key partners in our smart city cluster, we now plan for a delegation trip in November 2022.
Innovasjon Norge, Royal Norwegian Embassy in Madrid and Nordic Edge will give you an update on the event, share their plans and showcase some of the opportunities for you to get the most out of a potential participation in a delegation to Barcelona in the second half of this year.
