Lyse has become part owner of technology company Tectal AS through a private placement. The industrial, multi-utility company is a central member in Nordic Edge and has made several investments in smaller startups in the innovation cluster in recent years.

Delivering mobilty data in a new and efficient manner

Tectal delivers solutions for infrastructure projects both nationally and internationally. The company has a core competence within sensor technology that can deliver mobility data in a new and efficient manner to the private and public sector. The Stavanger based company has solutions for counting busses, cars, trucks, and bikes, amongst others. The service is based on an advanced multi-sensor platform with both machine learning and recognition algorithms.

New technlogy platform and service through collaboration 

The two companies have worked together for some time, and through this collaboration Tectal has established a technology platform and service that is ready for the market and can use all relevant IoT carrying technologies, including the nationwide sensor network that Lyse´s Altibox, and their fiber partners, have established.
