Welcome to our fourth Join a Start-Up Night.
Nordic Edge, Valide, Terran and the University of Stavanger are excited to keep connecting start-ups and talents at this networking event.
At Join a Start-Up Night we facilitate for talents and start-ups to meet, mingle and potentially enter into an employment together.

Where: Innoasis, Sverdrups gate 27, 4007 Stavanger
What: Presentations from the start-ups, followed by mingling and networking

Many students graduates and talents are looking for a chance to gain experience that’s relevant for their education and that will challenge them to expand their horizons. Working in a start-up will give you a unique chance to be part of a new and innovative environment.

For start-ups
Having a student, graduate or other talent on your team can provide new and valuable knowledge in the process of growing your company. At Join a Start-Up Night you get the chance to meet talents from various study programmes and backgrounds. Here you can present a potential part time or full time job, a summer internship, or a project you need help with.

Results from previous events
Join a Start-Up Night has led to multiple hires for the companies in the past. Our cluster member Novatech AS was one of the companies looking for new talent at the last Join a Start-up Night in November.
– After several interviews with relevant candidates, we have now hired a part time employee with experience within international marketing and sales, which was just what we were looking for, says Knus Husdal, CEO at NovaTech AS.
Join a Start-up Night is a part of our initiative Innoasis Forward. By hosting different events and distributing available positions, the initiative connects talents with companies looking for new additions to their teams. This year’s attendance was the first for the environmental consultancy company, but probably not the last.
– Join a Start-up Night was a great opportunity to meet engaged talents. We were approached by way more people than expected. In addition, it was a great chance to practice our pitch and get inspiration from the other start-ups presenting. We will definitely attend again if we get the chance, says Husdal.
