Nordic Edge invites members to a targeted, curated market programme for the UK.

Why UK?

The United Kingdom is one of the most dynamic markets for agricultural technology, driven by new regulatory frameworks and a strong focus on sustainability. In collaboration with AgriFoodTech Norway, Innovation Norway and British market experts UK Agritech Centre, we are setting up a compressed "How to Enter" programme.

We build the programme around your company: we open the doors, connect you with the right players and arrange meetings that would otherwise take months to set up on your own.

The programme consists of three part:

21. Oct: Digital kick-off & Market Readiness (home-based)
Oct to Dec: Time to understand each company’s needs, identify relevant organisations and prepare valuable connections ahead of the visit.
2–3. Dec: Two intensive days in the Midlands

1. Digital Kick-off & Market Readiness (home-based, 21. October)
Before departure, we run a hybrid workshop to prepare your UK market strategy — with insights from experts in the British market.

  • Market Intelligence: Review of the British landscape, subsidy schemes and technology needs
  • Operational Setup: Practical introduction to company formation, law and recruitment in the UK
  • Value Prop Check: How to tailor your pitch to British decision-makers

2. Prepare for best matchmaking
UK Cluster and Industry Actors will then have six weeks to work on the ground. This gives them time to understand each company’s needs, identify relevant organisations and prepare valuable connections ahead of the visit.

3. Market Programme: Midlands (2 days, 2–3. December)
Day 1 — Market, meetings and introductions

  • Warm introductions: We connect you directly with potential partners, distributors and industry players — relationships we vouch for
  • UK clusters and industry actors: Meetings facilitated by Nordic Edge through our British network — including the UK Agri-Tech Centre, UK Urban Agritech and BOFIN
  • New business models: An introduction to the UK market for biodiversity and carbon credits — how farmers are paid for nature work, and where Norwegian technology fits in

Day 2 — Company visits and relationship building

  • Site visit: We plan a visit to a leading British innovation hub or test farms
  • Company visits: Visits from relevant British companies and potential partners on their home ground
  • Action plan: We facilitate a structured debrief and a way-forward plan for each participating company

After the programme:

Nordic Edge produces a consolidated market report based on the programme's meetings and insights, shared with all participants.

Why participate?

  • Efficiency: Months of market work condensed into two intensive days
  • Network: Direct access to an ecosystem that takes time to build on your own
  • Community: As part of a Nordic Edge delegation, you stand stronger when engaging with British stakeholders

Next step:

Is this relevant for your company?

To secure your place and give us time to tailor the right meetings for you, we'd appreciate hearing from you by 30. September 2026.
