Two new online courses on smart and resilient communities are about to launch across Europe, and before they do, SMARCO is looking for students, workers and job-seekers to put them to the test.

SMARCO is an Erasmus+ project working to close the skills gap in smart city development and community resilience. Nordic Edge is one of the partners, alongside universities and higher education institutions from across Europe, collaborating to build the competences that communities need for the future.

This kick-off webinar introduces the SMARCO project and the two occupational profiles it has developed. The main focus will be on the short-term training courses:

  • Their structure, thematic areas and learning approach
  • The piloting framework: what participation involves, how certification works, and what outcomes to expect.

You will also hear how feedback from pilot participants will shape the final courses before they scale across Europe.

The session closes with an open Q&A where you can ask about the content, the practical aspects of joining the pilot, or anything else.

Join this kick-off webinar to hear what the two courses cover, how the pilot works, and ask the team anything.

Agenda:

15:00 - 15:30: Welcome and introduction of SMARCO and the short term training programs - Nordic Edge

15:30 - 15:45: Q&A session
