Growth is about more than gaining more customers. As a company enters a new stage, its strategy, organization, finances and ways of working need to evolve too.
This is where Business Readiness comes in. The eight-week program helps companies identify what they need to strengthen before taking their next step. Whether that means scaling the business, entering a new market, preparing for investment or simply getting a clearer direction for the road ahead.
Mátyás Kolsofszki has been involved in shaping Business Readiness and will join the program as a mentor. With extensive experience working with companies in growth, including through different incubator programs, he has seen first-hand what businesses need to build a strong foundation for their next stage.
“Business Readiness is not about whether a company is ready or not ready. It is about understanding where you are, identifying the gaps and finding what you need to move forward.”, says Matyas.
The program is designed to meet companies where they are. Participants do not need to have everything figured out. Instead, the focus is on understanding what is already working, what is missing and where there is potential to improve.
Wherever you are on the ladder, there is a next step.

For Matyas, a clear direction is one of the most important foundations for growth.
“You need to understand why your company exists, what you want to achieve and what you are going to deliver. You also need to understand your market and your competition.”
From there, companies can start connecting their vision with a clear growth strategy.
“Your growth strategy needs to be aligned with your vision. You need to know where you are going, which goals you want to achieve and how your growth will help you get there.”
One of the strengths of Business Readiness is the opportunity to step outside and look at the bigger picture. For companies considering a new market or preparing for their next stage of growth, the program offers a space to test ideas, challenge assumptions and get input from experienced mentors and other companies.
“I will ask the questions that need to be asked and help companies work through the answers. It is also about mentality and attitude, how you approach building your company.”
The aim is not to provide a one-size-fits-all recipe for growth. Each company starts from a different place and has different gaps to address.
Business Readiness is about making sure companies have the right foundation to move forward with confidence. Over eight weeks, participants get the opportunity to step back, identify what needs attention and work on the areas that matter most for their next stage of growth.
