At Nablaflow we provide state-of-the-art tools and services to run aerodynamic simulations. Our mission is to take advantage of wind simulations to improve people’s quality of life.

Our main application is written in Elixir with Phoenix and LiveView. We use TailwindCSS to style our web interface and target modern desktop browser and mobile devices. We also maintain a few other services written in Python, everything is deployed with to AWS.
We love functional programming and care about testing, maintainability and ownership. We work using the Github flow, always merge after a code review, release as frequently as possibile. We keep track of our tasks with Linear and have full ownership about the products and the features we develop.

About you

We are looking for a frontend software engineer to take care of our website and to work on the components that shows wind simulation data within our products. We are looking for someone passionate about programming who has a solid understanding of how the web works and is not scared of getting familiar with new technologies.
You will be working on a small team of software and aerodynamic engineers, we work in 2 weeks cycles and we keep the amount of meetings as low as possible. You will also be in direct relation with the customer success team.


  • Develop, manage and update the company’s website, ensuring it is optimised for users and SEO.
  • Develop and test components to display interactive simulation data on the web.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to understand customer needs.


  • At least 3 years of experience building frontend applications in JavaScript, HTML and CSS, possibly with previous working experience.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and code quality tools
  • Knowledge of the minimal best practices for SEO
  • Attention to details and care for solving problems in the right way
  • Interest in functional programming
  • Familiarity with the command line

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with other functional programming languages
  • An eye for design and experience with Figma
  • Contributed open source code
