Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona
Smart City Expo World Congress (November 5–7) is the leading international event for the smart city sector, serving as a key meeting point for experts and leaders from the world’s most innovative cities, companies, research centers, and international organizations.
Over 24,000 professionals are expected to attend from more than 800 cities, and more than 600 international speakers will share their vision of how to build a more sustainable and livable urban future.
Nordic Edge, together with Innovation Norway, offers members the opportunity to travel to the world’s largest meeting place for urban innovation. This is where international stakeholders gather to share solutions and ideas for addressing global challenges related to sustainable urban development and the mobility of tomorrow. Making sure the program is on track with the NEB-values of; Beautiful, Sustainable, Together, the Horizon Europe project NEB-STAR will be a integral part of the delegation and the official Nordic Edge program.

Monday November 4th
This program, organized by Innovation Norway, the Norwegian Embassy in Madrid, and Nordic Edge, introduces Spain as a potential market and connects you directly with Innovation Norway in Spain.
Tailored for Norwegian companies, it provides insights into the Spanish business landscape, focusing on Barcelona and Catalonia. Participants will visit key innovation hubs like 22@Innovation District looking at collaboration and innovation with a human-centric approach, explore business case studies, and engage in networking with industry experts.
There will be opportunities to meet with companies like ETRA and NEMI, take part in a pitching session, and explore B2B opportunities with potential partners.

22@network is a pioneering urban, economic and social renovation and innovation project that today continues to attract the interest of international delegations from all over the world.
