Struggling to find people with the right mix of digital, green and urban skills? You're not alone – and now there's a European response. Tomorrow, the SMARCO project launches the Smart Communities Skills Partnership, and Nordic Edge members are invited to join from day one.

The skills gap is one of the most common barriers our members report, whether you're a municipality digitalising citizen services or a company scaling smart infrastructure. The new partnership brings together public authorities, industry, SMEs, universities, VET providers and research organisations from across Europe to close that gap – through shared training programmes, pilot initiatives and skills certification schemes.
This 90-minute launch webinar is your entry point.
Why join?
- Free training for your team. Learn how to access SMARCO's training programmes, pilots and certification schemes – practical upskilling for the digital and green transitions, at no cost.
- A shortcut into European collaboration. The partnership is a ready-made arena for finding partners for joint initiatives and future EU projects. Being in from the launch means you help shape it, rather than adapt to it later.
- Direct insight into EU skills policy. The keynote comes from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, followed by a panel with the OECD, the City of Helsinki, the University of Thessaly, Fondazione Piemonte Innova and the Dargan Institute.
