Investor Readiness Autumn 2026

Most companies think they’re ready for investors. Few actually are.
What is Investor Readiness?
Starting in September, your company can become more professional in how it engages with investors – and gain a better understanding of a world that is more complex than many realize.
The Investor Readiness Programme is an eight-week programme for SMEs preparing to raise capital – and willing to take an honest look at where they really stand. Through four workshops, support from a dedicated mentor, and structured work on your data room, you’ll move from “we have a pitch” to meeting investors with real substance behind your story.

Workshops Autumn 2026
30. September: The get real show
Where does your company really stand? We map the gap between story and substance – and set the course for the next eight weeks.
15. October: Navigating investor waters
Who invests in companies like yours, and what are they looking for? We review investor types, what kills interest early, and how to think about timing.
29. October: Populating the dataroom
You work your way through the cap table, financial model and go-to-market strategy – and receive feedback from your mentor and the group along the way.
11. November: Your fundraising timeline
Fundraising is a funnel, not a meeting. We create a concrete plan for whom you should contact, when, and how.

FAQ
Not sure if the Investor Readiness Programme is right for your company? Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about who the programme is for, what you’ll get out of it, and what’s expected of you along the way.
Who is the Investor Readiness Programme for?
The programme is designed for companies planning to raise capital and looking to be better prepared when engaging with investors. You should be beyond the idea stage and ready to work hands-on with your investment case, documentation, and the process leading up to a funding round.
Do we need to have already started raising capital?
No. You don’t need to have started an active funding round. The programme is particularly relevant for companies that know they will be raising capital in the future and want to do the groundwork before starting conversations with investors.
What will we get out of the programme?
You’ll take part in four workshops, receive support from experienced mentors, and get access to relevant templates and resources. Throughout the programme, you’ll work on your investor narrative, data room, term sheet, and understanding of different types of investors – so you’re better prepared when meeting potential investors.
How much time should we set aside?
The programme consists of four workshops, with hands-on work and mentor support between sessions. To get the most out of the programme, you should set aside time to work specifically on your own company and put what you learn into practice along the way.
Does the programme connect us directly with investors?
The main goal is to make your company investor-ready – not simply to provide investor introductions. You’ll work on strengthening your investment case, narrative, documentation, and understanding of the investor process, so you’re better prepared when the right investor opportunities arise.
