Battery recycling – key drivers
Lithium-ion batteries play a key role in enabling the transition to clean energy and the growth of e-mobility. Recycling is an important part of a sustainable battery value chain. Jaakko Savolainen, Commercial Director of Fortum’s Battery Recycling will share his view on the current key drivers in battery recycling market.
Jaakko Savolainen is a sales minded technical professional. He has a Master´s degree in engineering. In his career he has been involved in fast developing business areas of recycling different raw materials. During the years he has been involved in sourcing material, processing it and in the raw material sales. Also Project management of different investment and R&D projects has been a part of interesting task during the career. The operations have mainly been in Scandinavia, UK, baltics and Russia.
