Accelerating Innovation Programme

A 5-session practice-based journey to boost innovation in your organisation

Do you feel your organisation could be more innovative – but you’re not sure where to start? Perhaps you have ideas that never become real products or services, a growth bottleneck, or pressure to become more sustainable. Or you simply sense that your innovation processes, culture, or strategy need a reset.

Accelerating Innovation is a 5- session  programme for practitioners in private and public organisations who want to work on a real innovation challenge from their own organisation – and make visible progress.

Price:

NOK 9.900,- ex VAT for members  in Stavanger Chamber of Commerce or Nordic Edge

NOK 12.500,- ex VAT for non-members

Who is this for?

  • Leaders and key employees in SMEs, larger companies, and public organisations

  • People who own or drive an innovation challenge (product, service, process, business model, or culture)

  • Participants who are ready to engage actively, share experiences, and test new approaches between sessions

Target group: Approx. 30 committed participants from different organisations and industries.

What you will get (key takeaways)

By the end of the programme, you will:

  • Define and sharpen your own innovation challenge and understand why it matters now

  • Apply concrete tools for user insight, experimentation, and sustainability-driven innovation to your own case

  • Test solutions faster, with more structure and less risk, using lean experimentation and rapid prototyping

  • Identify new opportunities and innovation “sweet spots” in your organisation

  • Build a stronger innovation culture, with methods you can bring back to your team

  • Become part of a cross-sector learning community, extending both your personal and organisational network

Programme structure – 5 practical steps

Each session follows a clear learning loop: Inspiration → Tools → Application to your own challenge → Feedback → Commitment to next steps.

Step 1 – Are we in shape for innovation? April 21

We focus on challenge discovery and innovation readiness. You map the current situation in your organisation and explore opportunities using tools like an innovation treasure hunt and the 4Ps of innovation.

Step 2 – How do we design effective solutions? May 19

We introduce lean experimentation, rapid testing, and prototyping. You design and test solution ideas on a small scale to learn quickly and reduce risk.

Step 3 – Who are we really innovating for?  September 16

We introduce tools such as customer journey mapping, jobs-to-be-done, and a chronicle workshop to uncover real needs, pains, and motivations. Understanding users through experience, not assumptions.

Step 4 – How do we future-proof innovation and scale impact? October 14

We integrate sustainability-driven innovation and examine how cross-sector collaboration and strategic anchoring help build long-term innovation capability and impact.

Step 5 – Innovation Pitch & Reflection Day. November 25

You are invited to a short, informal pitch and reflection session. You share your key learnings, present your progress, and commit to concrete next steps to embed innovation in your organisation.
