Christmas came early for our member Siglar, when a new partnership emerges

With ambitions to accelerate the maritime sector’s transition to lower emissions, the Norwegian company Siglar Carbon has entered into a partnership with Lloyd’s List Intelligence (LLI) – a global leader in maritime data and insights. The partnership will make it easier to make sustainable choices by providing accurate emissions analysis and timely decision-making tools.

The maritime sector faces stricter requirements and increasing costs related to CO2 emissions. For those who finance, insure, or transport goods by ship, having control over emissions data is crucial. Now, LLI’s 60,000 customers worldwide can access Siglar Carbon’s advanced emissions analyses, which offer insights into vessel performance and how environmental footprints can be reduced.

“The partnership with Siglar Carbon is an important milestone for us,” says Michael Dell, CEO of Lloyd’s List Intelligence. “By adding Siglar’s valuable emissions analyses, we enable our customers to truly understand maritime emissions and make informed decisions.”

Siglar Carbon specializes in analyzing maritime emissions and helps the shipping industry reduce costs associated with carbon emissions. With Lloyd’s List Intelligence’s nearly 300 years of experience in maritime data, the partnership forms a solid foundation for smarter and greener shipping.

“We are proud to collaborate with such an established player,” says Sigmund Kyvik, CEO of Siglar Carbon. “The partnership highlights the quality of Siglar’s analyses and confirms our belief that accurate emissions data is becoming increasingly business-critical.”

The partnership will not only strengthen existing customers but also pave the way for developing new solutions that accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future.
