The reason is simple, he has travelled to the HQ of IKEA in Sweden. The goal of the trip to IKEA was to both inspire and be inspired. For us at Nordic Edge, it’s all about our members! The words “Utrusta” and “Maximera” can be translated to EQUIP and MAXIMIZE.
Our job is to equip our members, laying the groundwork for innovation and growth in a world calling out for sustainable solutions. When Nordic Edge presents dozens of members that are relevant to IKEA’s four focus areas:
- Transport and logistics
- Energy
- Sustainability and circularity
- Packaging and materials
It’s all about boosting the power of our members. It’s about maximizing the impact of connections across borders and sectors, and being bold enough to explore new potential partnerships.
During the IKEA visit, Nordic Edge highlighted companies like Ventum Dynamics, Verta AS, and Sine Delta during discussions on energy, while mobility-focused members such as Bikeloop, Ampliuz, and SparkPark were showcased as examples of innovative thinking within that field. IKEA’s biggest challenge is last-mile logistics, and we will continue working with them to explore the possibility of launching a project related to this.
