Stavanger has been chosen as a lighthouse demonstration in the EU Commissions New European Bauhaus initiative (NEB). The project will create more sustainable, inclusive and beautiful spaces.

Together with our members and partners Smedvig, Veni AS, NTNU, Stavanger Kommune, UiS and others, Nordic Edge will showcase how territorial transformation can incorporate principles and values such as sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics through co-creation.

Over the next four years, the consortium will address complex societal problems and tackle challenges linked to climate-neutral cities when transforming SITE4016 at Åsen and Pedersgata in Stavanger City Centre.

The project will bring out the places unique qualities and give them new life in harmony with nature and the citizens needs. By providing access to EU funding, the NEB initiative will help speed up the process of Stavanger becoming climate neutral within 2030.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with our partners when we transform the citizens lives for the better!
