Music and arts are essential in creating and sustaining future cities and communities. And as Nordic Edge Expo is moved to May and to the vibrant and beautiful city centre of Stavanger, the collaboration with MaiJazz is a good match.

– For Maijazz, it is only natural to collaborate with Nordic Edge. We are both international and innovative and it is a great opportunity to show the creativity in our region in our respective fields. By presenting some of the most exciting names at local, national and international top level, we want to help make Stavanger an exciting city to live in, says Per Hasse Andersen, Festival Manager for MaiJazz.

Kyle Eastwood is one of the artists at Maijazz this year, attending with his band. His latest project is called “Cinematic”, melting together film and music. At Maijazz he will perform film music in a jazzy way, using music from well known movies. He is also doing interpretations of some of his favorite composers.
